Offshore Rig Administrator

Responsibilities and Work Tasks

• Administer helicopter flights, bed allocations, and POB system
• Monitor and update the Onboard Personnel Tracking System
• Communicate with helicopter on VHF
• Conduct weather observations and prepare weather reports for helicopters (if required)
• Supply the OIM or appointed emergency leader with POB-related information during emergency situations
• Coordinate and communicate with client POB coordinator as required
• Perform safety inductions for new personnel
• Maintain familiarity with the personnel tracking system to retrieve bed allocation and flight information
• Assist guests with minor accommodation concerns (code locks, entertainment systems, lockers, wake-up calls, etc.)
• Perform routine reception duties
• Carry out other tasks as directed by the OIM
• Ensure all written and verbal instructions are fully understood and complied with
• Participate in safety meetings, emergency preparedness training, and drills onboard
• Be familiar with all applicable client work and safety procedures and assist in their implementation
• Contribute to emergency organization in accordance with the Station Bill
• Possess sufficient knowledge and training in handling, storage, and packing of dangerous goods for helicopter or shuttle transport

Required Courses

• Basic Safety Training
• HUET (Helicopter Underwater Emergency Training)
• VHF Course
• METAR Course (Weather Reports)
• Air Transport of Dangerous Goods (if required)

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years experience as Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO), Offshore Rig Administrator, or Rig Medic
• Excellent computer skills
• Holder of a valid GMDSS Certificate
• Proficient in verbal and written English with effective communication skills
